Lalbaugcha Raja received a 20 kg gold crown worth Rs 15 crore from Anant Ambani and the Reliance Foundation.

 


Lalbaugcha Raja's eagerly anticipated first appearance took place yesterday evening on Thursday. The 20 kg gold crown that Anant Ambani and the Reliance Foundation gave to Lalbaug Cha Raja was the focal point.

Commencing on September 7, Maharashtra witnesses the consecration of idols in homes and public spaces as part of the Ganesh celebration.



For the past few years, Anant Ambani and the entire Ambani family have been involved with the Lalbaugcha Raja mandal. They also participate in the Lalbaugcha Raja immersion yatra.



"The 20kg gold crown was donated and brought yesterday," stated Balasaheb Kamble, President of Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal. Raja wore it after the initial appearance. Given their dedication to Ganpati Bappa, we are happy to have the Ambani family involved with mandal for a considerable amount of time."



The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, which was founded in 1934 at Putlabai Chawl, is responsible for the famous Ganesh idol that is the pride of the Lalbaugcha Raja.



The Lalbaugcha Raja Ganapati idol has been under the Kambli family's care for more than eight decades.
