Ghosh and three other people were detained by the CBI on Monday in relation to the suspected financial misbehavior at the establishment.
Bose said to, "This is the beginning of the end," without providing any details.
Notably, Ghosh's arrest transpired a few days following Bose's meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi, whereby the parents of the murdered woman medic at the RG Kar Hospital presented their appeal.
An officer at Raj Bhavan stated that the parents had written to Shah, via Bose, imploring him to look into their daughter's death as soon as possible.
On August 9, the body of a murdered and sexually assaulted lady medic was discovered in the seminar room of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
