Many expressed their concerns in the comments section. One commenter emphasized, "This is the moment a woman, distracted by her phone, plunged into an uncovered manhole while holding her nine-month-old baby." Fortunately, no one was hurt in the dramatic mishap in Faridabad, India, and both were promptly saved by onlookers.

"Why blame the women who the hell leave a freaking hole not covered?" said another.

"The phone is safe and undamaged, but what about the child???????" a third person wrote.

The video is becoming viral on social media, although it's still unknown where the incident happened.

In Patna, a woman slips into a manhole.

Another example that was recorded in Patna, Bihar, last year is similar to this one. While on the phone, a woman fell into an open manhole on Malia Mahadev Jalla Road that was seven to eight feet deep. There was a serious risk to pedestrians since the sewer vent in Ward-56 had been left open.

The woman was saved in time by onlookers who acted quickly. She didn't have any serious injuries. Civic authorities were criticized for their failure to ensure public safety when the event, which was also captured on CCTV, occurred.
