Actor Saif Ali Khan's police statement regarding the attack on his home last Thursday has been recorded. Two days after being released from the hospital, the actor made his statement to Bandra Police on Thursday. The actor gave a terrifying description of how he came across the assailant after hearing screams coming from his youngest son Jeh's room.

According to Saif's testimony, he and his wife, Kareena Kapoor, were in their bedroom on the eleventh floor of the Satguru Sharan building. They heard their younger son Jeh's nanny scream at around 2:30 in the morning. They were awakened by the screaming and hurried to the room where the invader was. While Jeh was wailing, Eliyama Philips, the nanny, began yelling.
Saif claimed that he attempted to subdue the intruder and stop him, but he assaulted him with a knife, repeatedly stabbing him in the hands, neck, and back. The actor said that when the nanny fled with Jeh, he shoved the intruder into the room. The intruder was then trapped in the room, according to Saif.
According to police sources, Mr. Khan repeatedly stabbed the actor in his hands, neck, and back when he attempted to stop the accused. As Ms. Philips fled with Jeh, they continued, the actor, despite his injuries, shoved the invader inside the room and shut him there.

The attack left Saif Ali Khan with six injuries, including major slashes on his neck and back. The actor had surgery to remove a portion of the knife from his back after being admitted to the Lilavati Hospital on Thursday morning. Additionally, the doctors fixed the spinal fluid leak.
On Tuesday, Saif left the Lilavati Hospital and went back to his Bandra bungalow. Saif and Kareena, along with their two children, Taimur and Jeh, are temporarily under police protection. The family has been given two constables, who will make sure they are safe wherever they go.
The defendant, a citizen of Bangladesh, has been taken into police custody after being arrested. According to the authorities, he was unaware of Saif's fame and targeted his home for a break-in.
