The MCC disseminated the information via their social media pages.

In the world of cricket, the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is considered to be among the most prominent clubs. Many of the game's greatest players have received membership over the years. Sachin Tendulkar, a former Indian star, is the most recent recipient. The Master Blaster accepted the award for his contribution to the game, according to a tweet from the MCC.

Possibly one of the best batters to ever step onto the pitch was the 51-year-old. He had a reputation as a complete batter. Five Indian cricket players have been among the 86 individuals who have received this honorary membership since 1838. In 2023, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Jhulan Goswami, and Mithali Raj were the Indian cricket players who were bestowed with this distinction.

"In recognition of his exceptional contribution to cricket, the MCC is happy to announce that former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar has accepted an Honorary Cricket Membership," the MCC tweeted.
