Varun posted a couple images from the Border 2 filming locations to his Instagram account on Wednesday. He posted a selfie with the Jawans and another photo of the two of them holding a tank. "This #ArmyDay, we are honoring India's true heroes," he captioned the photo.
I'm glad to have them around. #Border2 #prep. With a stellar cast that includes Diljit Dosanjh and Ahaan Shetty, Border 2 is scheduled for release in January 2026. Sunny will return in the Anurag Singh-directed follow-up to the classic Border (1997). It is anticipated that Border 2 would carry on the tradition of its predecessor, which portrayed the India-Pakistan conflict of 1971.
In addition to Border 2, Sunny Deol will make a strong comeback to the big screen in the action-packed thriller Jaat, which is scheduled for release in April 2025. Intense hand-to-hand fighting and exhilarating stunts are among the high-octane action scenes in the December 2024 teaser. The film, which was directed by Gopichand Malineni, also features Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Randeep Hooda.
