SZA discusses transformative Isha experience, completes Samyama, praises music

The Grammy-winning musician SZA wrote an emotional Instagram post about her life-changing experience at the Tamil Nadu program of the Isha Foundation.

She commented, "Life is so profound and chaotic and beautiful," next to a set of before-and-after pictures. My experience in Samyama is beyond words. I went crazy for a fundamental yapper for more than eight days without a phone, mirrors, or eye contact (these pictures are taken before and after the program).then discovered it. returned to a plethora of overwhelming information on both my personal and professional lives and the state of the planet.

"But somehow it's settling quietly and loudly at the same time," she continued. My mother and I were cared for by EVERY ISHA volunteer, as well as by @isha.foundation, @sadhguru, and @chekothari. I can't express how much I enjoy this life and the process.Namaskaram.

SZA has already visited the Isha Foundation. She has talked about the ashram's long-lasting influence on her life, having visited it in 2021.

SZA was very touched by the musical performance of the students from Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti, an Isha Foundation-run school, on her most recent visit. Integrating academics with disciplines like yoga, martial arts, music, and dance, the school places a strong emphasis on holistic education.

SZA shared a video of the performance and said, "The scales, the syncopation, the runs... INSANE... they brought me to TEARS," describing her emotional response. By stating, "I've already asked to sample it and sent it to the production gang," she even alluded to using the song in upcoming projects.

Since its founding in 1992, the Isha Foundation has attracted people from all over the world who are looking for spiritual development and well-being through its projects and programs.
