Day 5 box office receipts for Fateh: On Tuesday, the audience's enthusiasm in Sonu Sood's directing debut was rekindled, following a decline on the first Monday. According to Sacnilk, the action entertainer's numbers somewhat increased during Makar Sankranti.
There is a small increase in Fateh numbers
On its fifth day of release, Fateh brought in ₹1.60 crore, tens of lakhs more than its ₹95 lakh haul on Monday. Fateh did not pass the Monday test because it only made slightly less than ₹1 crore, despite making over ₹2 crore every day from Friday to Sunday. However, the movie has partially made amends and made over ₹1.5 crore on Tuesday because of the Makar Sankranti celebration. At the domestic box office, Fateh has now earned ₹9.30 crore, almost reaching the ₹10 crore milestone.
In addition to holdover releases like Haneef Adeni's Malayalam action thriller Marco and Sukumar's highly anticipated action sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rise, it faces fierce competition at the box office from a number of South releases, including the Hindi-dubbed versions of S Shankar's Telugu action entertainer Game Changer and Bobby Kolli's Telugu action drama Daaku Maharaaj. It will have new competition this week in Emergency, a Bollywood period political thriller starring Kangana Ranaut.
About Fateh
Motivated by actual cases during the COVID-19 outbreak, Fateh focuses on combating cybercrime. Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, and Jacqueline Fernandez are also in the movie. Zee Studios and Sonu's Shakti Sagar Productions are co-producers of Fateh. The movie has received praise for its powerful action scenes.
"I used to believe that everytime a Bollywood film was produced, we would frequently ask why our films lacked action sequences like those in other countries. Why don't the foreigners discuss our action scenes? I always thought about it, but as an actor, you are limited by the screenplay and production budget, so you don't have much control. I included that into my film when I was appointed director.
