Since the pandemic, the High Court has begun holding virtual hearings. Legal advisors could take part in hearings without actually going to the court. Be that as it may, there have been discussions about this previously. Legal counselors are not following behavior in virtual hearings. Along these lines, Calcutta High Court Equity Tirthankar Ghosh reported on Tuesday that there will be not any more virtual hearings in his seat. He remarked, "I'm halting the hearings through virtual medium because of the terrible way of behaving of a couple of legal counselors. Nobody is following manners."

Sharing his experience of virtual hearings, Equity Ghosh said, "Somebody is hearing the situation while going by transport. Some are sitting in the midst of the upheaval during the conference. That sound can be heard! Some legal counselor is sitting in Barrackpore Court and is documenting a case here. Oppressive words are digging out from a deficit. Taking into account everything, I'm training the Recorder General to stop virtual hearings in this court."

As it turns out, virtual hearings began in the High Court after the pandemic. Legal advisors could take part in the conference without actually going to the court. However, the High Court had recently communicated its dismay over the cooperation of legal advisors in virtual hearings. In 2023, the then Boss Equity of the Great Court, Prakash Srivastava, censured a legal counselor for partaking in a virtual hearing without wearing the endorsed clothing (outfit) for legal advisors. He likewise constrained the then Extra Specialist General, MV Raju, to wear an outfit during the virtual hearing.
