India's journey to the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup was not an easy one. Despite the incessant rain and a challenging pitch, Rohit Sharma's team managed to overcome all obstacles. In the semifinal against England, India displayed their dominance.

Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav showcased their batting prowess, setting up a solid foundation for India. Their partnership of 73 runs was crucial in taking India to a competitive total of 171 for seven. The pitch made it difficult for the batsmen, but Rohit and Suryakumar showed great skill and patience.

Despite the tough conditions, there was no lack of attacking intent from the Indian batsmen. Suryakumar's clean hits and trademark paddle scoop were a treat to watch. Rohit, on the other hand, played with precision, judging the pace of the pitch perfectly.

Even the introduction of leg-spinner Adil Rashid couldn't stop Rohit, as he confidently played the reverse sweep and conventional sweep to unsettle the spinner. India's momentum was halted briefly by rain, but with extra playing hours available, there was no reduction in overs.

India's unbeaten streak in the tournament proved that they have the right answers to any challenge thrown their way. Now, they march into the final of the T20 World Cup, ready to face their next opponent.

Rohit and Suryakumar picked up right where they left off, continuing their impressive partnership. In the 13th over, left-arm seamer Curran struggled, conceding 19 runs. Suryakumar started the onslaught with a brilliant inside-out scoop over point, followed by an incredible sweep from Rohit for a maximum.

However, Rashid managed to break the partnership in the next over, deceiving Rohit with a well-disguised googly that slipped under his bat. Jofra Archer then dismissed Suryakumar with a slower ball, leaving India at 124 for four. Despite the setbacks, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel played some powerful shots to maintain a healthy run rate.

England faced early troubles in their chase, losing three wickets in the PowerPlay. The dangerous Jos Buttler fell victim to Axar Patel's left-arm spin, while Jasprit Bumrah's slower ball outfoxed Phil Salt. Axar struck again, dismissing Jonny Bairstow with a flat, straight skidder.

India continued to dominate, quickly removing Moeen Ali and Curran. With England struggling at 49 for five, their hopes of victory were dashed.

The match concluded swiftly, bringing India one step closer to lifting the World Cup trophy.
