For the first time in his third term, Prime Minister Modi presided over the NDA parliamentary party meeting today. The motion expressing gratitude for President Murmu's speech is the subject of ongoing deliberations at the conference.

In his first speech to the ruling bloc's members during the first session of Parliament since taking office for a third term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the National Tuesday is the Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party meeting.

The Prime Minister instructed all NDA MPs to conduct themselves differently during the meeting than Congressman Rahul Gandhi did in the Lok Sabha.

The prime minister addressed the opposition, saying that some of them had become restless since, since Jawaharlal Nehru, no prime minister has been able to win three consecutive terms—a feat achieved by a "tea-seller."

During the NDA meeting, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will be discussing the Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu's address to a joint session of Parliament.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju told reporters after the meeting, "Today, the Prime Minister gave us an important mantra." He went on, saying that every member of the House was selected to serve the nation. Regardless of their political affiliation, serving the nation comes first."

"Each and every NDA MP must put the nation first in their job. The Prime Minister also gave us excellent advice on how Members of Parliament should behave, emphasizing that each member should properly and legally represent their constituency in the House. Rijiju claims that he also counseled us to learn more about other significant and fascinating subjects.

"The prime minister also made one request. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya has no political agenda, and each Member of Parliament need to take their family there. The Union Minister said, "This was an effort to honor, educate, and help the country as a whole about the contributions made by each prime minister.

In light of the recent instances of parliamentary standards being disregarded, Union Minister and leader of the LJP (Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, told reporters during the meeting that it was crucial to take a cue from the Prime Minister's experience. We got his advise on it today."

PM Modi is anticipated to respond to the debates in both Houses later today.

All BJP and its ally members of Parliament were informed about today's meeting and invited to participate, according to official sources who spoke with news agency PTI.

While the PM has spoken to NDA MPs on a few occasions in the past, particularly when he was elected as their leader before any of his three terms, he usually addresses Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs during sessions.

The fact that the BJP lost the majority in the Lok Sabha for the first time since 2014 in the most recent elections makes this a historic turning point, as it means that the government's existence depends on its partners.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned on Monday till Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making "divisive" remarks during the Lok Sabha elections, while Rahul Gandhi caused controversy with his comments on Hinduism.

The motion of thanks for the President's address was debated in both Houses and during his speech, PM Modi criticized Rahul Gandhi.

"Calling the entire Hindu community violent is a very serious matter," PM Modi stated.

Later, Rahul Gandhi was also asked to apologize by Home Minister Amit Shah.

Rahul Gandhi's comments were denounced by the BJP at a later press conference, but the Congress also staged an evening press conference to criticize the ruling party at the Center.
