Check out Eminem's new song "Tobey," which features Big Sean and BabyTron

 Eminem released the song with a cover art that references the comic book series and its main character, Spider-Man and was inspired by a meme.

Eminem, who recently revealed the date of the release of "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)," his upcoming album, has released a new song called "Tobey," which features Big Sean and Babytron, two other Detroit musicians. The cover image for the track was inspired by a Spider-Man meme, in which Eminem refers to the comic book series and its protagonist. "Tobey Maguire got bit by a spider but see me?" begins the song. "It was a goat," the song starts. Although fans expected "Tobey" to drop at midnight, it was officially released 12 hours later.



'Tobey' is a verse by Eminem that aggressively declares his place among the top five rappers and shows his perspective on his place in the hip-hop industry. He responds to recent allegations that Eminem's place in the rap hierarchy is questionable because of his race, which may have been sparked by comments made by Melle Mel of The Furious 5 and Grandmaster Flash the previous year.

Eminem addressed these remarks earlier in his feature on Ez Mil's "Realest," and he continues to think about them in "Tobey." According to Variety, Eminem announced on Monday that 'The Death of Slim Shady' would be out the following week. He also shared a trailer with graphic images on his social media accounts.



Eminem has been hinting at "The Death of Slim Shady" since April. During the NFL Draft, he released a trailer, suggesting that this album might be the last one using his long-running identity, Slim Shady. As a farewell to this altered identity, he published an obituary in the Detroit Free Press in May. Not too long later, magician David Blaine was brought in for a promotional film introducing "Houdini," the album's lead track that shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 rankings.

Variety claims that the only information known regarding "The Death of Slim Shady" is that Dr. Dre most likely contributed to its creation.
